MISSION & VISION
Bread of Compassion is committed to helping those who are affected by poverty and impacted by catastrophic events such as disease, earthquakes, hurricanes and economic hardship. Teams are sent to impoverished villages to offer them tangible help such as medical and dental care. Pharmaceutical supplies are offered and professional medical advice is given.
MISSION
Bread of Compassion provides life-sustaining medical care to indigent people-groups in Haiti who otherwise have no access to basic healthcare. By partnering with U.S. based medical professionals and those situated abroad, Bread of Compassion dispatches mobile medical and compassion teams who host healthcare clinics in the region's most impoverished villages. Our goal is to meet the basic healthcare needs of the more than 300 villagers per day who visit our mobile clinics by providing examinations, medications, hygiene education and self-care supplies.
VISION
The need is there and the volunteers are ready. Our vision at Bread of Compassion is to establish a permanent healthcare clinic in Dolney, Haiti where we can provide on-going medical care and support to the region’s impoverished population. Located near Crois-des-Bouqets, the Dolney clinic will employ a Haitian-based medical and support staff, as well as dispatch U.S. based teams into remote villages as we continue our mobile healthcare program.
