New Orleans, Louisiana - July 31 to August 6, 2006

A Bread of Compassion Teen Team traveled to New Orleans in the summer of 2006 to help those devastated by Hurricane Katrina. In just one week, the all-youth team gutted an entire home, landscaped two yards and distributed school supplies to local children.

The team also provided hours of hard labor to help with the renovation of a men's drug and alcohol residential facility where they removed carpet, stripped floors, painted, tiled and landscaped the grounds.
